🌍 WHO IS MAKEIBA JAMES? 
Makeiba James is a multidisciplinary creator, entrepreneur, and cultural force whose work lives at the intersection of creativity, healing, and resilience. Born in Trinidad & Tobago and guided by ancestral pride and personal transformation, she is an actress, singer, model, and author who has built a dynamic body of work across music, film, fashion, publishing, and lifestyle brands—often without support, and always with intention.
She is the Founder & CEO of Scarred Scorpion Management LLC,  a brand management and creative development company born from lived experience and designed to turn scars into strategy. Through Scarred Scorpion, Makeiba oversees ventures spanning books, media, condiments, beauty, and artist-led brands—proving that survival can evolve into sustainable success.
As an author, Makeiba is the voice behind Pineapple Thoughts, a method and philosophy rooted in resilience, self-reflection, and mental reframing, as well as When the Spell Breaks, a deeply personal memoir of healing, identity, and reclaiming power. Her creative expression extends into original music, music videos, film projects, and modeling, all of which can be explored on her YouTube channel and across platforms @MakeibaJames.
